As of 25th May 2018, the new European privacy rules, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), will apply throughout the EU. The GDPR imposes restrictions and conditions on the recording, holding and processing of personal data.
We would like to let you know that the Ethanol Reach Association also complies with the GDPR. For example, we have adjusted our Privacy Statement. Nothing fundamentally changes to the way we deal with your data, but we have now clearly defined procedures. This means that you can be certain that we are taking the matter seriously.
We appreciate that your time is limited, so here is a summary of the salient points:
- Transparency: We have made a crystal clear overview of the data we collect and how we use them. We collect nothing more than is strictly necessary. As an association, we do not pursue commercial interests, therefore your personal data will not be used in this respect.
- GDPR: Our new privacy rules are in line with the new requirements of the GDPR legislation, which took effect on 25th May 2018.
- Your rights: You have the right to view and modify your data which we store, or request them to be deleted.
